THE ROLE

You will be responsible for supporting a wide range of UK, ROI and internationally-based customers, alongside e-commerce. Responsible for processing orders, arranging shipments, communicating updates and liaising with the customers alongside internal teams, guaranteeing the best possible service.

  • Based at the company’s Head Office in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.

  • Full-time position.

  • Opportunity to develop skills base through funded courses and training software.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Ensure customers’ orders are input into the sales administration system.

  • Keep customers and wider Sales team updated on the progress of orders.

  • Co-ordinate the despatch of sales orders, ensuring all relevant documentation is in place.

  • Investigate and resolve customer sales queries.

  • Keep invoicing updated, contributing to end-of-month administration duties.

  • Support with the processing of Amazon orders.

  • Support the wider Sales Teams with account management and handling.

  • Regularly liaise with additional internal departments, including Marketing, Product, Production and Planning.

  • Respond to telephone and email queries.

  • Demonstrate full product and brand knowledge.

Requirements

  • Be experienced in export sales administration.

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills.

  • Work in a timely and productive manner.

  • Have experience in Access computer systems or a similar ERP system.

  • Demonstrate experience in handling and administrating to a wide customer base.

  • Understand international shipping requirements and restrictions.

  • Have experience using a range of transport companies for different markets.

  • Be experienced using Excel and Outlook.

  • Professionally and positively represent the company and its values at all times.

  • Be a team player, proactive, flexible, enthusiastic and demonstrate a ‘can-do’ attitude.

  • Be able to work to tight deadlines, ensuring work remains of the highest quality.

  • Demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills.

  • Be able to work cross-functionally with relevant teams.

  • Be a people person who is hands-on and open to learning in a collaborative and creative environment.

  • At least two years’ experience in a relevant role.

  • At least one years’ experience of export administration.

  • Someone who is passionate and wants to hit the ground running

  • Reasonably close proximity to the Head Office would be ideal, however, not essential.

  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel.

  • Excellent communication skills.
