About the Role

Project Engineer 


Inspire Resourcing Ltd are recruiting for a Project Engineer on a permanent basis to work for this highly reputable company who are globally known. They are looking for the suitable candidate to cover Yorkshire Water and United Utilities.


This is an excellent opportunity for those with some sales experience who want to become Project Engineer or for those who already have experience of being Project Engineer or similar supervisory role.


You will be responsible for ensuring the allocated portfolio of projects are delivered in a timely, effective, and efficient manner, and meet our clients’ expectations in line with the expectations of our clients. Working with customers and sub-contract partners you will ensure works are delivered accordingly within the agreed budgets.


Duties to include: -


· The Project Engineer liaise with suppliers as required and ensure supplier deliverables are managed effectively.

· Ensure all projects are planned, managed, and delivered effectively within agreed budgets.

· Establish and maintain key relationships with customers regarding plans, progress, and issues.

· Establish and maintain contacts with the Sales teams regarding plans, progress, and issues.

· Provide weekly and monthly forecasts of the revenue income for the portfolio/projects.

· Ensure commercial and contractual elements of projects are understood, planned, and delivered.

· Work across the business to ensure solutions are fit for purpose and appropriate for the customer and client.

· Attend site meetings & undertake site inspections when required.

· Day to day Project Team management.

· The Project Engineer will manage own and team workload to ensure agreed deadlines are achieved.

Salary & benefits


Salary of up to £55k per annum

Based on 38 hours per week

Monday – Thursday 0830 – 1700

Friday - 0830 - 1500


Location – Covering United Utilities and Yorkshire Water requirements
