About the Role

We are recruiting a Paint Sprayer for a Chesterfield‑based manufacturing business. This is a temporary‑to‑permanent opportunity offering stability, a supportive team environment, and the chance to develop long‑term within the company.

The role is ideal for someone with hands‑on spraying experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced production setting.


Key Responsibilities

  • Spray components to a high standard within a busy production environment.

  • Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling, masking, and cleaning.

  • Apply wet paint or specialist coatings using spray equipment.

  • Inspect finished work to ensure quality and consistency.

  • Maintain spray equipment and ensure the workspace is clean, safe, and organised.

  • Follow company processes, quality standards, and health & safety procedures.

  • Support general production tasks when required.

Requirements

Essential

  • Previous experience as a Paint Sprayer (industrial, manufacturing, automotive, or similar all OK).

  • Ability to prepare, mask, sand, and finish components.

  • Good understanding of paint application techniques.

  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable

  • Experience working in a fast‑paced production environment.

  • Flexibility to support other production tasks when needed.
