About the Role

Key Responsibilities:


  • Research and identify potential customers, projects, and markets in coordination with Product Managers and ASMs.

  • Perform structured desk-based research using internal databases, industry reports, and project sources such as GlobalData.

  • Make confident outbound phone calls and written introductions to new prospects to qualify their level of interest and potential fit for products.

  • Manage and populate the CRM system with accurate data, ensuring every prospect and opportunity is properly recorded and updated.

  • Develop tailored contact approaches to generate interest and maintain engagement until prospects are ready for handover to Sales Managers.

  • Arrange and schedule meetings between qualified leads and Sales Managers (virtually or in person).

  • Monitor and report on lead generation KPIs including volume, quality, and conversion rates.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, and Sales teams to ensure consistent follow-up and effective use of leads.

  • Maintain compliance with GDPR and internal data handling policies.

  • Demonstrate behaviours in line with company values

Requirements

What we’re looking for:


  • Previous experience in lead generation, telemarketing, or inside sales in a B2B technical or industrial environment.

  • Confident and professional communicator, comfortable making cold calls and conducting qualification discussions.

  • Strong research skills — able to analyse data, identify target companies, and find key contacts.

  • Experience managing and updating CRM databases.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and online research tools.

  • Able to use LinkedIn and professional networks to identify and engage prospects.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail.

  • Motivated by achieving measurable results and supporting sales growth.

  • Knowledge of industrial emissions, processes, or environmental monitoring markets and experience working in an international or export sales environment is desirable.
