Dispatch Operative

Inspire Resourcing are recruiting a Dispatch Operative on behalf of a client based in Chesterfield.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out goods-in and goods-out operations, ensuring all deliveries and outgoing orders are processed accurately and efficiently.

• Receiving, unloading and checking incoming goods against delivery notes and purchase orders.

• Inspecting goods for damage, defects and discrepancies, reporting any issues as required.

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately, ensuring goods are securely packaged and ready for dispatch.

• Preparing goods for dispatch, ensuring all items are labelled correctly and meet delivery requirements.

• Raising and processing dispatch notes, delivery paperwork and other relevant documentation.

• Ensuring outgoing goods are checked for accuracy before being released for delivery or collection.

• Maintaining accurate stock records and assisting with stock control activities.

• Organising and storing goods safely and efficiently within the warehouse.

• Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, tidy and organised, adhering to health and safety procedures at all times.

• Operating warehouse equipment safely and following company procedures.

• Working as part of a team to meet daily warehouse targets and ensure orders are dispatched on time.
