About the Role
Inspire Resourcing are looking for a motivated and detail-focused Assembly Operative to join our clients production team in Bakewell.
As an Assembly Operative, you will play a key role in the manufacture, assembly and testing of electronic modules and components.
Working as part of a skilled production team, you will be responsible for completing assembly tasks accurately and efficiently, using specialist tools and equipment while ensuring all products meet our high standards for quality, reliability and performance.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and takes pride in producing high-quality products in a structured manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble electronic modules and components in accordance with approved work instructions, drawings and specifications.
Carry out precision assembly using a range of hand tools, specialist equipment and production aids.
Complete product testing and inspection to ensure components and finished products meet required quality standards.
Identify and report defects, quality issues or discrepancies promptly.
Follow detailed assembly instructions, procedures and production schedules.
Maintain accurate production and quality records as required.
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.
Carry out visual inspections and basic fault-finding where required.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working area.
Follow company health and safety, quality and environmental procedures at all times.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the production and quality teams.
Support continuous improvement activities to improve quality, efficiency and working practices.
Assist with other reasonable production duties as required.
