About the Role

Quality Systems Engineer


Inspire Resourcing are currently recruiting a Quality Systems Engineer on behalf of our well established client based in Matlock.

Duties:

  • Defining the company Quality Management System within the operational levels to ensure all areas of the business are working to QMS requirements

  • Ensuring the Quality Management System is managed, maintained and developed to the highest service and cost-effective level.

  • Minimising third party  non-conformances and audit failures (e.g., AS9100, customer audit) to ensure that any issues are closed out to agreed timescales.

  • Ensuring internal and external  audits are completed to customer requirements, EFQM standards and AS9100.

  • Work closely with customers on any specific Quality initiatives.

  • Managing OASIS, Eaudit and customer portal audit

  • ISO trained (9100, 13100 standard)

  • Investigate and resolve customer returns and complaints.

  • Represent Quality Team at Supplier/Customer external meetings.

  • Implement and monitor robust actions using a DMAIC/8D process.

  • Use of internal non-conformance database to analyse trends and liaise with the continuous improvement

  • team to implement improvement activities.

  • Participate in multi discipline teams to address issues aligned to the achievement of Company objectives.

  • Participate in and support product and process continuous improvement activities based on a range of tools and techniques.


Requirements

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of AS9100/13100.

  • Quality Systems experience in the automotive / aerospace sector

  • Ability to read engineering drawings.

  • Working knowledge of quality tools (such as APQP, FMEA, 6 Sigma, 8D, 5 Why) would be advantageous.

  • Proven history of managing and maintaining Quality Management Systems.


Package:

  • Up to £40k

  • Monday – Thursday 08:30 – 17:00, 08:30 – 13:30 on a Friday
