About the Role

HSE Coordinator (Health, Safety & Environmental)


Inspire Resourcing are currently recruiting for a HSE Coordinator on behalf of our well established client based in Derbyshire


This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated Health & safety professional who loves all things compliance. 


This position has overall responsibility and accountability for all elements of compliance and health and safety within the Company.


Requirements: 


·Management and upkeep of an existing internal compliance management system.

·Risk Management together with implementing appropriate control measures

·Overseeing Site Inspections & Audits

·Management of Incident reporting and investigations, including RIDDOR, implementing strategies to prevent re-occurrence

·Assist with implementation and upkeep of ISO accreditations -14001, 9001, 45001

·Staff, Visitor and Contractor training and induction

·Management of company compliance documentation including duty of care records and permits for waste.

·Creating and delivering of staff in-house training documents as required to meet recognised/acceptable standards ensuring accurate records are maintained

·Supplier/Sub-Contractor Approval and Control on site

·Company representative for consultants and enforcement bodies

·Organising and planning of regular health, safety and environmental meetings, promoting a culture of health and safety throughout the site, chairing meetings, generating minutes and 

·Keeping Management team updated regarding new legislation and HSE developments, ensuring compliance across the organisation

·COSHH

·Communication with the Directors and Management team relative to any risks which may affect the site/day to day organisation - and being proactive at problem resolution

·Management of emergency and first aid procedures on site, ensuring that fire alarms and site evacuation exercises are conducted regularly, that adequate staff are trained in first aid and chemical spills, and safety and environmental matters.


Key Requirements:


·Experience in a similar role, in a manufacturing environment

·Understanding of regulations would be an advantage

·Strong IT skills - Word, Excel, Power Point

·NEBOSH

·Excellent organisational skills and working with accuracy, and attention to detail


Package: 


·Full time/Permanent Monday to Friday DAYS 

·£35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience and qualifications

·Holidays - 30 days (including bank holidays)
