Inspire Resourcing are currently recruiting a Cell Team Leader, on behalf of our client in Sheffield.

This a great opportunity for an individual with previous management experience, within a production environment.

Duties:

• Manage the workload from manufacturing sheets/works orders to planned targets.

• Manage the effective distribution of work within the team.

• Check each section to keep a high level of quality.

• Ensure that materials are utilised fully to alleviate waste.

• Promote the effective working of the cell, monitoring times to ensure efficiency,      also maintaining accurate recording procedures.

• Seek to resolve issues and problems (team and equipment) in the first instance.

• Communicate and escalate any issues and problems to the Factory Supervisor.

• Monitor and convey material shortages as appropriate.

• Report achievements each day to Factory Supervisor.

• Lead and contribute to working method improvements.

• Actively encourage and develop teamwork and collective contribution to improvement      in all activities.

• Monitor holidays and other leave to ensure targets are not affected.

• Ensure all Health, Safety and Welfare issues are both communicated, implemented,      and monitored within the cell

• Provide and/or advise on training for team members and be responsible for own      continuous development.

• Achieve On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) as the main KPI.

• Ensure the security of company facilities. Open and lock up the factory as required

• Create relevant SOP’s.

• Ensure that the Company’s quality requirements are met in full.

• Assist and have input to R&D projects.

• Play an active role in continuous improvement.

• Ensure that quality standards (ISO) are achieved and maintained throughout the      operation.

• Accurately record components and tests as required.
