Business Development Director


Inspire Resourcing is thrilled to recruit a Business Development Director for a leading construction client. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional with extensive experience in the construction industry.


The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in bid management, relationship building, and creating and leading a high-performing sales team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Bid Management: Oversee and manage day-to-day bid management      activities, ensuring efficient and effective processes.

  • Strategy Development: Evaluate, manage, and enhance current strategies      and procedures to drive business growth.

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the board to assist in shaping      future business plans and objectives.

  • Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a dynamic sales team,      fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Staff Training: Develop and implement training programs to      enhance team skills and performance.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations and commercial      divisions during the handover stage to ensure seamless project execution.

  • Business Development: Take the lead in developing and executing a      comprehensive business development plan.

  • Client Relationship Management: Forge and maintain strong relationships with      existing clients to maximize opportunities and drive repeat business.

  • New Business Acquisition: Identify and secure new business opportunities      to expand the company’s client base.

  • Marketing Oversight: Oversee all marketing efforts, both online and      offline, to enhance brand visibility and market presence.
